Process of Buying Your Home
Conduct an initial meeting/consultation to determine your housing wants and needs. I will explain the entire process for buying a home to you as it is important that you are an educated buyer in today’s market.
I can show you any listings that are for sale, whether it is listed with me or another real estate company. I also work with “new construction” & “for sale by owner” properties.
I’ll enter your home requirements into my “interactive” MLS Connect program that will directly email you listings on a daily basis including all new, price changed, and reactivated listings that meet your requirements.
To show you all the available homes that meet your criteria until you find the “perfect” home. (I have extensive knowledge of the entire Chicagoland and outlying suburban areas.)
To refer you to recommended “mortgage consultants” to help you start the “pre-approval” process which is very important in today’s market when buying a home.
To refer you to recommended “real estate” attorneys who will represent you in your real estate transaction.
To refer you to recommended “home inspectors” that will thoroughly inspect your home for any deficiencies that need to be addressed to the seller. (My recommended home inspector will also educate you on how-to maintain your home.)
I will provide you with statistics on comparable “sold” properties, and explain the factors which affect the property values of those that interest you.
I will also provide any data of the home(s) that interest you.
To explain the purchase contract in its’ entirety, plus explain the all state legal forms & disclosures.
I will also negotiate your offer in your best interest.
I will continue to follow up with your home purchase until all contingencies are met. I will attend your closing to make sure everything is handled smoothly.
